Conditions of sale


All our sales are subject to these general conditions which prevail over all purchasing conditions, unless we have a formal and express exemption. All orders imply acceptance of said conditions by the customer. These general conditions of sale always apply to online commerce, under the terms in force at the time of the conclusion of any purchase.

– 1 Orders:
Orders are to be sent by mail, fax, Internet, E-mail or telephone directly to our sales department, the minimum order is set at 20 Euro HT.
Any cancellation of an order by the buyer must be subject to written confirmation.
All orders received in our offices will be processed within 48/72 hours, unless one of the items is out of stock (excluding weekends). Books and monographs are sent directly by internet (pdf file). The rest of the articles are sent by post.

– 2 Prizes:

The prices on the site are stated in Euro and incl. VAT, shipping and packaging costs being extra. Invoices are established at the rates in effect at the time of the order. Cash on delivery orders are not accepted.
ALPHA-INTERNATIONAL reserves the right to modify the prices in case of flagrant error.

– 3 Payment terms:

The terms of payment are fixed in cash.
Payments will be made in Euros by check, direct debit, transfer or by credit card.
Only checks payable in France are accepted.

– 4 Late payment:
In case of the buyer failing to pay all sums due to the seller, the latter reserves the right, with or without notice, to suspend all deliveries to the buyer, until the latter has paid the sums due, and to repossess the delivered material.
In the event of late payment, the buyer automatically incurs default interest equal to twice the legal interest rate, in accordance with the law on new economic regulations (law No. 2001-420 of May 15, 2001, published in the official journal N ° 113 of May 16, 2001).
ALPHA-INTERNATIONAL may also claim from the buyer, as a penalty clause, compensation corresponding to 10% of the balance.

– 5 Individuals:
For individuals, payments are made on order by credit card on the website, by check or bank transfer. Orders will only be sent upon receipt of payment for payments made by check or bank transfer.
For any return of merchandise, individuals have a period of 7 clear days from the delivery of their order and request their exchange or reimbursement (C. consom. L121-16, al. 1).

– 6 Retention of title:
The seller retains ownership of the goods sold until effective payment of the full price in principal and accessories.
In the event of a dispute or dispute on the part of the buyer, no compensation, of any kind, can call into question the retention of title clause. This provision does not preclude the transfer to the buyer upon delivery of the risk of loss and deterioration of the goods sold, as well as the damage they could cause.
Pursuant to Law No. 90.335 of May 12, 1980, the goods sold remain the property of the seller until full payment of the price and its accessories (property clauses).

-7 Guarantee:
All products benefit from the manufacturer’s warranty. All complaints must include details of the use of the item, the date of purchase and the location of the defective component. We reserve the right either to replace this article or to establish a credit note for the value of the invoiced price. Liability is limited only to goods supplied by ALPHA-INTERNATIONAL and does not apply to damage, injury or loss of income resulting from a defective component. In other cases, the items will not be returned or exchanged.

– 8 Conditions of application of the conventional guarantee:
The goods sold are guaranteed against any operational defect resulting from a defect in material, manufacture or design, under the conditions below.
The warranty is excluded: if the defective material or design comes from the purchaser, if the operating defect results from an intervention on the good carried out without authorization, if the defective functioning comes from normal wear and tear of the good or of negligence or lack of maintenance on the part of the buyer, if the faulty operation results from force majeure.

– 9 Disputes:
It is strongly recommended to check your packages in the presence of the delivery person. In the event of material damage, no claim will be accepted if the facts have not been entered on the carrier’s receipt.

– 10 Contestations:
All complaints on the delivered material must be made within 8 working days and no return of merchandise will be accepted without the prior agreement of our after-sales service.

– 11 Returns:
The products must be returned to us in their original packaging, accompanied by the « return » file number, previously given by the after-sales service, as well as the number of the corresponding delivery slip or invoice. Returned products will be subject to quality control before any decision is made. In the event of return of goods due to the customer, we will be obliged to deduct processing costs from the resulting credit note, ie 25% of the value of the item with a minimum of 5 Euro.

– 12 Fight against piracy:

To avoid illegal copies, CDs and DVDs cannot be returned or exchanged.

– 13 Force majeure:
ALPHA-INTERNATIONAL will not be held responsible for delay or failure to perform its obligations in the event of force majeure, in particular in the event of natural disaster, bad weather, fire, explosion, flood, national strike, accident, riot or civil disturbance, abnormal delay due to the supplier, shortage of products and materials.

– 14 Attribution of competence:
Complaints or disputes will always be received with attentive benevolence, it being assumed that whoever takes the trouble to expose them does so in good faith. So in the event of a dispute, the customer agrees to notify ALPHA-INTERNATIONAL by registered mail before any action in court. For any dispute, the Montpellier Commercial Court has sole jurisdiction.
